We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Caregiver to provide personal care and companionship to an elderly family member in Woodbridge, ON. This is a full-time position<\/strong> with flexible hours, including day, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as the option for live-in accommodation (though it is not required). Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

• Personal Care:<\/strong> Assist with daily personal care tasks, such as grooming, dressing, and hygiene.<\/li>\n
• Health Management:<\/strong> Administer medications and assist with daily exercise, including walks.<\/li>\n
• Household Support:<\/strong> Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.<\/li>\n
• Meal Preparation:<\/strong> Prepare and serve nutritious meals.<\/li>\n
• Companionship:<\/strong> Provide companionship and emotional support to the client.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Experience & Specializations:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  • Education:<\/strong> Secondary (high) school graduation certificate<\/li>\n
  • Experience:<\/strong> 7 months to less than 1 year in a caregiving role.<\/li>\n
  • Target Audience:<\/strong> Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer\u2019s, disabilities (physical, mental health), elderly persons, or females in need of specialized care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Work Environment:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    • Non-smoking environment<\/strong>: Applicants must be comfortable working in a smoke-free home.<\/li>\n
    • Physical Demands:<\/strong> Ability to assist with walking, crouching, kneeling, and handling weight between 61 and 80 kg (133-176 lbs).<\/li>\n
    • Optional Live-In Accommodation:<\/strong> Accommodation is available at no cost, but living on-site is not required for this position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
