Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff; conduct performance evaluations and manage schedules.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control; analyze financial performance and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverages.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and labor laws.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate on marketing strategies to attract customers, including promotions and events.
  • Menu Development: Assist in menu planning, pricing, and presentation, keeping up with food trends and customer preferences.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless operation and communication.

Tasks

  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules

Qualifications:
