Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients’ fitness levels and goals.
  • Design personalized workout plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
  • Instruct clients on proper exercise techniques and form to prevent injury.
  • Monitor clients’ progress and adjust programs as necessary.
  • Provide nutritional guidance and lifestyle coaching as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workout environment.
  • Build strong client relationships to foster motivation and accountability.
  • Stay updated on fitness trends, techniques, and certifications.

Tasks

  • Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques
  • Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities
  • Leading/instructing individuals
  • Provide lifestyle awareness information
  • Conduct therapeutic recreational or athletic activities
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Assemble supplies, sports and game equipment
  • Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required

Qualifications:

  • Certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA).
  • CPR and first aid certification preferred.
  • Previous experience as a personal trainer or in a fitness-related role is a plus.

  • Ability to work with diverse populations and fitness levels.
  • Knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and injury prevention.

Working Conditions:
