Key Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- Erect Structures: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
- Framing and Roofing: Support framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- Earth Leveling: Help level earth to fine grade specifications.
- Site Cleanup: Clean salvaged materials, remove rubble, and manage spills and contaminants at construction sites.
- Machine Assistance: Tend to or feed construction machinery and equipment.
- Traffic Control: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure safety.
Work Environment:
- Setting: On-site work at various outdoor construction locations in Kelowna, BC.
- Green Job: This role is considered a green job, meaning it contributes positively to environmental outcomes and supports Canada’s net-zero target.
Qualifications:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
