Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software applications using best practices and modern technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software quality and performance.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.
Tasks
- Write, modify, integrate and test software code
- Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
- Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
- Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
- Research and evaluate a variety of software products
- Program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges and Internet-based applications
- Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js).
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
