Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate logging trucks and trailers to transport timber from harvesting sites to designated locations.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and secure logs onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and load safety.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and load details.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company safety policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to environmental guidelines and practices to minimize impact on surrounding areas.
