Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate logging trucks and trailers to transport timber from harvesting sites to designated locations.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and secure logs onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and load safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and load details.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company safety policies.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to environmental guidelines and practices to minimize impact on surrounding areas.

Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience driving logging trucks or similar heavy vehicles preferred.
- Knowledge of logging operations and forestry practices.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to truck driving and logging.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and rugged terrain.
