2553-4330 Québec Inc. is seeking a skilled and proactive Airport Manager to oversee daily operations at Havre-Saint-Pierre Airport. Salary: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, 35-40 hours per week (negotiable)

Who is an Airport Manager?:
An Airport Manager is responsible for ensuring all operations at an airport are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with government regulations. This role involves managing staff, coordinating with security teams, overseeing airline operations, and maintaining high service standards. An Airport Manager plays a crucial role in connecting communities by ensuring that airports run smoothly, safely, and in a welcoming manner for all passengers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of 3-4 employees, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.
- Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of airport operations, including facility maintenance, logistics, and compliance with safety protocols.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, manage emergency procedures, and maintain airport security clearance standards.
- Customer Service: Ensure that passengers, crew, and visitors have a seamless and safe airport experience.
Qualifications:
- Education: Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Language Skills: French proficiency is required; English proficiency is considered an asset.
- Licensing Requirements: Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
Security Requirements:
- Must have Airport Security Clearance and Basic Security Clearance to meet airport regulatory standards.
