Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Supervise and train security personnel, ensuring they adhere to protocols and deliver high-quality service.
  • Monitoring and Surveillance: Oversee surveillance systems and ensure security personnel conduct regular patrols of the premises.
  • Incident Response: Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies; investigate and document incidents, and report findings to management.
  • Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations; conduct regular audits of security practices.
  • Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for security staff, management, and law enforcement agencies; communicate effectively to address issues.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on security activities, incidents, and trends; present findings to management and recommend improvements.

  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Establish work schedules and procedures

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security management or law enforcement are preferred.
  • Previous experience in security, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of security systems and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations.

Working Conditions:
