Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff; conduct performance evaluations and manage schedules.
- Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and feedback promptly and effectively.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control; analyze financial performance and implement strategies for improvement.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverages.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and labor laws.
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate on marketing strategies to attract customers, including promotions and events.
- Menu Development: Assist in menu planning, pricing, and presentation, keeping up with food trends and customer preferences.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless operation and communication.
Tasks
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Prepare and submit reports
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Establish methods to meet work schedules

- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

Qualifications:
