Sky Vision Lumber Inc is seeking energetic and hardworking General Construction Labourers to join our growing team in Crossfield, Alberta. No prior experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidates. This position requires working on-site in a variety of outdoor environments, including exposure to noise and dust. The role is physically demanding and requires a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to various work sites.
• Equipment Support: Clean and lubricate cranes, and assist with the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Concrete and Asphalt Work: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring precision in each task.
• Pipe Alignment & Drilling: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and support drilling and blasting operations.
• Framing & Roofing: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs to meet project specifications.
• Earthwork & Demolition: Level earth to fine grade specifications, pave and rake asphalt, and assist in demolishing buildings.
• Site Clean-Up: Clean and pile salvaged materials, remove rubble, and perform routine maintenance work at construction sites.
• Machine Tending: Operate or feed machines or equipment used in construction as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Languages: Proficiency in English.

Work Environment: This role requires working on-site in varying conditions, including outdoors, noisy environments, and dusty areas.
